Answers to the most common questions from producers.

Account and access

How do I create my producer account?

On the sign-up screen, with your first and last name, email and password — when you finish, you’re already in the panel. When public sign-up is closed, the account is created by the platform team and you get a first-access link by email.

I got a first-access link. What do I do?

Open the link, check your name and set your password: the account is active right away. The link is valid for a limited time; if it has expired, the screen itself lets you request a new one.

I forgot my password.

On the sign-in screen, use “Forgot my password” and enter your email. If there is an account with it, you’ll get a link to create a new password.

How do I change the panel’s language or theme?

In the account menu, at the bottom of the side navigation. The language of the emails you receive is in Settings.

Products and checkout

How do I create a product?

In Products › New product: name, description, the price for each cycle you want to sell (monthly, quarterly, semiannual or yearly), trial days and guarantee days. The maximum guarantee is shown in the billing rules on the same screen, and the price field tells you when an amount is below the minimum.

Why can’t I publish my product?

Every product starts as a draft and can only be published with at least one live lesson. In Products, open the product, publish a lesson in the “Content” tab and go back to the “General” tab: the “Publish” button becomes available, and until then the tab tells you what is still missing.

Where do I find the sales link?

On the card of each published product, in Products. There is one link per cycle; that is the one that goes on your sales page. A draft has no link, because it does not sell yet.

If I change the price, do current subscribers pay the new amount?

No. The price is locked into each subscription at the time of purchase; the new amount applies to people who subscribe afterwards.

Content and videos

How do I organize my content?

Each product has a “Content” tab (in Products, open the product) with its modules, and each module has lessons. You reorder modules and lessons by dragging (or with the keyboard) and choose when each lesson is released: now, on a scheduled date or as a draft.

What kinds of lessons can I create?

Video, text, PDF and embedded content (iframe), such as a YouTube video or a presentation. Video, text and iframe lessons can have a downloadable supporting file.

How do I upload several videos at once?

In the product’s “Content” tab, drag the files onto a module: each video becomes a draft lesson, in the order of the file names. The upload keeps going while you move around the panel, but closing the browser tab stops it. After uploading, the video is processed, and the list shows the progress.

Can I customize my students’ area?

Yes, in Settings › Customization: colors, logo, a logo for light backgrounds, banner and the support WhatsApp number, with a live preview.

Payouts and platform fee

Where does the money from sales go?

Payments land in your Asaas subaccount. In Finance you can follow what is still to be released, the available balance and the month’s statement.

How do I withdraw money?

Withdrawals are made directly in Asaas, from your subaccount. The panel shows the balances but does not make withdrawals.

How does the platform fee work?

The platform charges a percentage of each paid charge. Since the full sale lands in your subaccount, the fee becomes a payable. The current percentage is shown in Finance › Platform fee and in the billing rules in Products.

How do I pay the platform fee?

Transfer the amount to the platform and record the payment in Finance › Platform fee: select the open payables, use “Mark as paid” and enter the date and a note. If a sale is refunded before you mark it as paid, its fee is canceled.

Subscribers and billing

Can I register a subscriber who paid me outside the platform?

Yes, in Customers › Add subscriber. A manual registration charges nothing: it records access you granted outside the platform, with the declared payment method. If the person doesn’t have access to the member area yet, they get the first-access invitation by email.

What happens when a charge fails?

The subscription becomes “Past due” and the charge is retried; meanwhile the student keeps access. If it stays overdue, access is suspended and then the subscription is canceled, according to your dunning policy.

Can I change those deadlines?

Yes, in Settings › Dunning policy: you set after how many days overdue access is suspended and after how many the subscription is canceled.

Refunds

How does a student request a refund?

From the student area, on the subscription’s first charge, if it was paid and the window is still open; they can explain why. You get an email, and the request shows up in Refunds.

Until when can a student request a refund?

Only the subscription’s first charge can be refunded through the platform, and only within the product’s guarantee days, counted from payment. Even with a 0-day guarantee, the minimum is 7 days (article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Code). Renewals and product or billing cycle changes cannot be requested through the platform. The server checks the window: the student only sees the request button while it is open.

Who decides on the refund?

You do. In Refunds, each pending request has “Approve and refund” and “Refuse”. Approving asks Asaas for the refund at once and cannot be undone from the panel; the charge shows as refunded in finance right away, and the student gets an email. Refusing requires a reason, which is emailed to the student.

What does the “Withdrawal right (7 days)” tag mean?

It marks requests made within 7 days of payment. Under article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code, anyone who buys outside a physical store — online, for example — may withdraw within this period, and refusing such a request may violate that right. The decision is still yours.

And the “Within guarantee” tag?

It marks requests made within the guarantee days you set on the product. The guarantee also defines how long students can request a refund (see above).

What does a “Failed” request mean?

Asaas rejected the refund; the reason shows on the request’s row. Nothing was refunded, and the student can ask again while the window is still open.

Privacy and data

How do I download my data?

In Settings › Privacy and data, use “Download my data (JSON)”. The file contains your account’s personal data; passwords, access codes and card details are never included.

How do I request access to, correction or deletion of my data?

On the same screen, open a request by choosing the type (the data subject rights under the LGPD) and describing what you need. You get a protocol number by email, and the list shows the response deadline and the platform’s reply.

What about my students’ data?

Each student has the same option in the student area: download their own data and open data subject requests, which are handled by the platform.

Where are the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use?

In the links at the end of this page.
